Lindsay joins Small Talk after working in private pediatric speech and
language pathology for over 15 years. Working with children ages 2–16,
Lindsay has experience assessing and treating children with speech and
language disorders. She has worked with various diagnoses, including
Apraxia of Speech, Articulation Disorders, Receptive–Expressive
Language Delays, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Lindsay enjoys working with children and implementing a team–based
(classroom teachers, psychologists, physical and occupational
therapists) approach as she tailors each therapy session based on the
client’s interests and needs. Moreover, Lindsay aims to have each child’s
speech and language progress from Small Talk’s clinical setting to a
functional environment.
Lindsay is a licensed speech and language pathologist certified by the
American Speech–Language Hearing Association (ASHA). She earned
her B.A. at The University of Wisconsin–Madison in Communication
Disorders and her master’s degree in Speech–Language Pathology from
Wayne State University.
Lindsay lives in Birmingham, Michigan, with her husband, two children,
and two dogs.
